Job summary

Entergy seeks a seasoned Project Development Leader to guide a cross-functional team in originating and developing large power plant projects, typically above $250M. You will oversee front-end loading, contract strategy, and coordination with regulators and stakeholders to ensure a smooth hand-off to execution.

The role demands strong commercial acumen, leadership, and safety focus, with responsibility for mentorship, risk management, and delivering on schedule and budget in a regulated utility

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 4 years related experience in lieu of degree.
• Preferred MBA or Masters in PM/Engineering/Construction.
• Experience leading project and construction management in utilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project development team for large power plant projects >$250M.
• Develop pipeline via greenfield or brownfield opportunities and procure services.
• Negotiate EPC contracts and manage Stage Gate processes.
• Coordinate with regulators and support functions for certifications.
• Deliver clear project status and mentor team members.
