Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Project Engineer to serve as the Owner’s Engineer and technical assurance lead for large-scale power-generation projects. Based in South Louisiana with initial travel to project sites, you will provide independent engineering oversight, governance, and QA for EPC deliverables across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering; Mechanical or Electrical preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in power systems; PE/PMP preferred.
• Experience in Owner’s Engineer, project engineering management, or technical oversight.
• Strong EPC project execution knowledge and governance experience.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Owner’s technical representative for major generation project.
• Lead and coordinate owner-side multidisciplinary engineering reviews.
• Review EPC deliverables for compliance with standards and project specs.
• Support RFIs, field changes, and EPC change orders.
• Ensure constructability, operability, and reliability in engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate alignment between engineering, construction, commissioning, operations, and OEMs.
• Maintain documentation for audit and prudency reviews.
• Assist/lead Records of Decision and turnover packages from EPC to Owner.
• Participate in contractor/vendor selection and ensure licensing compliance.
