As a key member of the Project Execution team, the Project Engineer serves as the Owner’s Engineer and technical assurance lead for large-scale ($1bn +) greenfield power-generation projects within the Entergy Texas service territory. While the role is based out of South Louisisana, initial travel to project sites for training should be expected. The position is responsible for providing independent engineering oversight, technical governance, and engineering quality assurance throughout all phases of project execution. This role oversees multidisciplinary engineering coordination and supports technical resolution of EPC RFIs, field issues, engineering deviations, and change-order requests while maintaining alignment between engineering, construction, commissioning, operations, OEMs, and project stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience supporting major capital projects exceeding $500MM and has previously served in an Owner’s Engineer, Project Engineering Manager, Engineering Assurance, or technical oversight role within the power, oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy industrial industries.
