Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Sr Engineer (Utility) to oversee planning, project management, and construction activities including emergency restoration.

The role covers grid design, reliability, and asset management, with onsite responsibilities in Metairie, Baton Rouge, or Lafayette, LA. You will coordinate multi-discipline teams and drive safety, quality, and timely delivery of capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Distribution, Substation, and Transmission Line Construction projects.
• Prepare construction contracts, schedules, and cost tracking.
• Provide engineering field technical support to crews and perform constructability reviews.
• Engage in planning, scoping, and coordination with departments and customers.
• Develop project estimates, resources, and contractual agreements; ensure safety and quality.
• Interface with multiple organizations to manage capital work process and project execution.
