Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a capable professional for the Project Engineer family role, with an emphasis on safety, quality planning, and on-site coordination. The candidate will support estimating, scheduling, procurement, and reporting while collaborating with foremen, subcontractors and the project team.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience, plus 2+ years of construction experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Lean processes and construction technology.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to read drawings and coordinate with field teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learns and participates in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Participates in QA/QC planning for quality of tasks.
• Assists with estimating, schedules, and change management.
• Works on site with project team to support manpower, materials, quantities and equipment.
• Prepares and disseminates project documentation and reports.
• Creates procurement logs and tracks shop drawings.
• Provides updates to support scheduling and project close-out.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field
