Zusammenfassung

Impact Housing seeks a Sr. Project Engineer in San Diego, CA to support office and field engineering activities and coordinate information flow, approvals, meetings, and documentation with the project team.

You will assist the Project Manager and Superintendent, help ensure schedule compliance, manage change orders, prepare documentation, and contribute to constructability reviews and project closeout. A Bachelor’s degree and 3–5+ years in commercial/multifamily construction are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5+ years in commercial and/or podium multi-family construction required. Modular experience is a plus.
• General knowledge of construction principles and practices.
• Solid computer skills with MS Office, Smartsheet, Bluebeam and MS Project.

Aufgaben

• Work with the Project Manager to establish information flow, approvals, meetings and reporting.
• Coordinate with design professionals, consultants and owner on applications for payment and documentation.
• Assist in ensuring schedule compliance and timely buyouts.
• Assist in administering change orders and project closeout.
• Prepare documentation records and materials for method studies and cost estimates.
• Support constructability reviews and identify design deficiencies for resolution.
• Implement safety programs and assist with records retention.
