Job summary

USO Building Co./US-Offsite is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Engineer to support multifamily modular construction projects. You will handle RFIs, submittals, subcontract administration, and project documentation, working closely with the Project Manager to maintain schedules and budgets.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and a willingness to travel to active project sites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in construction or related field.
• Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, subcontract administration, and document control.
• Exposure to commercial, multifamily, modular, or design-build construction is a plus.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, log, track, and follow up on project RFIs.
• Maintain RFI logs and communicate schedule or scope impacts.
• Compile, review, submit, and track submittals including shop drawings, product data, and samples.
• Coordinate with vendors on lead times, approvals, and material delivery schedules.
• Prepare and issue subcontract documents with Project Manager.
