Job summary

ONEOK is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead medium‑capex facility construction projects in the Natural Gas Gathering & Processing business. You will drive projects from initiation to closeout, coordinate cross‑functional teams and contractors, and manage schedules, budgets, and contracts.

The role supports a hybrid work schedule with in‑office Mon‑Thu and remote on Fri. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in facilities project engineering, strong communication skills, and experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or closely related field and job-related experience preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering, operations and/or project management.
• Experience with pipelines or hydrocarbon processing facilities design, construction, operation, and maintenance.
• Experience with project materials, contracts, budgets, reports, and specifications.
• Experience building and maintaining project schedules and budgets.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and project management activities for design, procurement, construction, or optimization of assets.
• Develop and manage schedules, budgets and milestone plans; ensure deadlines are met.
• Establish and manage contracts and purchase orders in accordance with agreements.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, valve sizing, and gas flow analyses as needed.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party contractors.
• Support economic analyses and identifying opportunities for improvements.
