Job summary

ONEOK is seeking a Project Engineer to lead medium-capex facility construction projects within the Natural Gas Gathering & Processing business. You will drive initiatives from initiation through closeout, coordinating with Operations, Commercial teams, and third-party contractors.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, strong communication, and a track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget. Hybrid work schedule: in‑office Mon–Thu, remote Fri.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or closely related field.
• Experience in engineering design and criteria for natural gas and/or NGLs in pipeline systems.
• 7+ years in engineering, operations or project management and delivering projects on schedule and budget.

Responsibilities

• Direct and/or perform engineering and/or project management activities for design, procurement, construction, or optimization of assets (transmission, gathering, compressor/pump stations, NGL facilities).
• Prepare schedules, budgets, and milestone plans; manage contracts and purchase orders per agreements.
• Coordinate with Operations, Commercial stakeholders and third‑party contractors to meet safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
