Job summary

ONEOK is seeking a Project Engineer to lead medium-capex facility construction projects within the Natural Gas Gathering & Processing business. You will manage schedules, budgets, and vendor contracts to deliver projects on time while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires 10+ years of engineering, operations or project management experience in the midstream or Oil & Gas sectors, plus strong communication and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field.
• Experience and knowledge of engineering design and criteria for natural gas and/or NGLs in pipeline systems.
• Typically seven or more years of experience in engineering, operations and/or project management.
• Experience achieving goals and developing employee/team strengths, yielding successful outcomes.
• Experience with applications such as Microsoft Excel, Project, Access, Word, etc.
• Experience researching and preparing project materials and design specifications, contracts, budgets, reports.
• Experience identifying and prioritizing operational problems and coordinating actions.

Responsibilities

• Direct and/or perform engineering and/or project management activities for design, procurement, construction, or optimization of company assets.
• Provide technical and/or engineering assistance on equipment/system design, pipeline sizing, control, and facility design/maintenance.
• Perform and review project management activities including bid proposals, cost management, change orders, and scheduling.
