The ideal candidate has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of engineering experience, with strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Travel up to 10-15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 10-15% and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Develop estimates for project execution, schedules, and change orders.
• Lead engineering deliverables from inception to completion, reporting progress and risks.
• Review compression system designs for compliance with standards and customer specs.
• Interpret codes (ASME, CRN, NFPA, AWS, IBC) for equipment compliance.
• Review and approve customer drawings; advise on design improvements and cost reductions.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve design issues and improve processes.
• Mentor junior engineers in processes, design, risk management and project execution.
