Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Engineer to support complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. The role offers the opportunity to lead design and coordination of HVAC, plumbing, and related systems across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5+ years in project engineering with a strong background in systems design, operations, and clear communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret mechanical and plumbing plans.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and material coordination.
• Excellent project management skills with on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Strong technical knowledge of system operations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using engineering software tools.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Review and interpret mechanical plans to ensure compliance.
• Handle change orders, RFIs, submittals, and material coordination.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to meet project objectives.
• Oversee project engineering activities including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Ensure projects adhere to company policies and objectives.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members.
