Jobot is seeking a seasoned Project Executive to lead commercial HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical construction projects in the San Jose area. You will manage client engagement, coordinate across Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction and Service, and guide teams through full project lifecycles.

The role demands a high-level professional with 15+ years of experience, strong leadership, and a proven ability to develop new business.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in commercial mechanical project management, client management or related fields.
• Proven track record managing HVAC/plumbing construction projects or estimating, design and management from $50k to $25+ million.
• Demonstrated ability to develop new business opportunities.
• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management; MBA and/or licensed PE is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and project management skills with excellent organization.
• Ability to handle high volume of issues with judgment and discretion.
• Experience leading commercial HVAC, plumbing and mechanical construction projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single source of responsibility for assigned projects with sound judgment.
• Coordinate and supervise staff across Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction, and Service.
• Manage project staff throughout the life of the project.
• Lead sales activities: estimating, conceptual design, proposals and negotiations.
• Prepare budgets and rigorously control costs.
• Develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with clients and vendors.
• Supervise departmental efforts during construction in a timely manner.
• Prepare documents and strategies to ensure sound business procedures and legal protection.
• Adapt to multiple locations and form teams for special projects.
