Job summary

Williams Companies, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead and support compressor station and facility projects across the full lifecycle.

You will manage engineering deliverables, coordinate mechanical, civil, and structural teams, and oversee third-party firms to ensure design quality and regulatory compliance. The role involves developing procurement plans, mitigating risks, and aligning delivery strategy with budgets and resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (ABET) or Engineering Technology with PE license and a minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted engineering experience in natural gas or petrochemical.
• Experience leading multi-discipline teams and guiding design reviews (30%, 60%, 90%).

Responsibilities

• Lead and support project engineering execution for compressor stations and facilities.
• Coordinate mechanical, civil, and structural engineering efforts and oversee third-party firms.
• Develop material requisitions and support procurement to meet project requirements.
• Ensure design quality, regulatory compliance and effective deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate engineering risks and optimize delivery strategy, budgets, and resources.
• Deliver presentations and communicate project drivers to stakeholders.
