Job summary

Danfoss in Mountain Home, Arkansas seeks an experienced Project Engineer to lead custom equipment projects from design to commissioning. You will define scope, manage budgets, and coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams to deliver on time and within scope.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years in project management or manufacturing engineering with capital project focus. Travel domestically and internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 5+ years of project management or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication across all levels.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project scheduling tools.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop clear project specifications and RFQ packages.
• Define project scope and requirements from quotes and internal documents.
• Serve as the primary contact for Engineering throughout the project.
• Coordinate and lead internal kickoff meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain schedules and budgets across all phases.
• Facilitate status updates and regular communication with stakeholders.
• Track time charges and resolve discrepancies with supervisors.
• Identify delays and escalate to department heads when needed.
• Recommend improvements to product quality and internal processes.
