Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Manufacturing (m/f/d) to lead the Hydrostatics Value Stream and support localization/ footprint optimization across NAM and EU. The role is hybrid and can be located in Ames, IA or other Danfoss locations depending on the project scope.

You will partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and portfolio management to translate strategy into execution, driving timelines, resources, and risk management.

Qualifications

• A proven track record of success managing projects in a manufacturing, industrial, or product-focused environment.
• Experience working closely with supply chain, procurement, and operations teams
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with business systems such as SAP, PLM, or similar tools, along with strong analytical skills and an interest in using AI and digital tools to improve work efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead Hydrostatics’ Value Stream Management Process to ensure End-to-End strategy definition and execution.
• Own Hydrostatics’ Global Capacity Planning Tool & Process.
• Define and lead localization and footprint optimization projects.
• Support End-to-End manufacturing process optimization and alignment across twelve HY manufacturing plants.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and portfolio management to build alignment and momentum around shared objectives.
• Guide project planning, timelines, resources, and risk management, helping teams deliver with confidence and transparency.
• Communicate project progress and key decisions clearly, building trusted partnerships across functions, locations, and leadership levels.
