Job summary

Lease Crutcher Lewis is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Seattle to lead engineering on large commercial builds. You will mentor engineers, supervise on-site teams, and assist the Project Manager with buyout, cost control, and close-out activities.

Strong communication and Bluebeam proficiency are essential. Ideally you have 7+ years in general contracting, a related degree, and a collaborative approach to a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field required.
• Minimum of 7 years of general contracting experience on large commercial projects.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam and related construction software.
• Creative problem solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert on the project team and mentor less experienced engineers.
• Supervise the Project Engineer work group on site, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Support the Project Manager with duties including meeting minutes, buyout, billings, cost control, and change pricing.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, craftspeople and subcontractors to meet contract requirements.
• Assist in project close-out procedures and maintain accurate project records.
