Job summary

HNTB is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support a General Engineering Contract, embedded with the project manager at the Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority office. You will assist in scoping, production, and delivery of capital projects, applying engineering methods to address design issues and meet schedules.

Mentoring of junior staff and collaboration with clients and partners are key aspects. The role requires advanced engineering degrees and extensive experience across disciplines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering plus eight years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree in Engineering with seven years of relevant experience.
• PhD in Engineering with six years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Use senior-level technical expertise to consider a broad range of engineering solutions.
• Lead discipline planning, work distribution, leadership, and adherence to schedule and budget on complex projects.
• Mentor and review junior engineers and provide feedback.
• Coordinate with clients and teaming partners to deliver on schedule.
• Lead multi-disciplinary delivery and coordinate schedules and workload.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
