Job summary

Kovalus Separation Solutions, Inc. in Willmar, MN, is seeking a seasoned engineer to lead project engineering efforts on complex systems. The role emphasizes project management of RELCO scope, design oversight, and cross-functional coordination with customers, vendors, and construction teams.

You will manage multi-million dollar projects, prepare P&I drawings and equipment lists, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining strong customer relationships and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Four year degree or relevant work experience.
• Experience: Seven plus years in similar role.
• Knowledge: Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design systems and specify components that perform safely and to contract specifications.
• Document engineering calculations for the systems designed and components specified.
• Quality of designs for projects.
• Timeliness of completing designs for projects.
• Manage major projects ($10M+) to meet schedule and budget constraints.
• Prepare and/or direct the preparation of P&ID Drawings and General Arrangement Drawings.
• Prepare requisitions and/or place orders for all “buy-out” equipment.
• Coordinate with construction for on-site install.
• Ensure invoices and project updates are provided timely.
