Job summary

Relco in Willmar, MN is seeking a Project Engineer to provide technical information and support on project assignments throughout their duration. You will manage RELCO scope, coordinate with engineering and construction, and ensure satisfactory project execution and customer communication.

The role requires a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience, with 2 years in a similar capacity, and travel of 15-35% of the time.

Qualifications

• Two-year Associates/Technical degree or relevant work experience.
• Two years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent organizational skill.

Responsibilities

• Design systems and specify components that perform safely and to contract specifications.
• Document engineering calculations for the systems designed and components specified.
• Quality of designs for projects.
• Timeliness of completing designs for projects.
• Manage projects assigned to meet schedule and budget constraints.
• Maintain the engineering project files in a complete and organized manner according to company policy.
• Prepare and/or direct the preparation of P&ID Drawings and General Arrangement Drawings.
• Complete the preparation of the P&ID Equipment Lists (PIEL).
• Coordinate with construction to prepare for install on-site.
