Lockheed Martin in Marietta, GA seeks a Project Engineer for the AMMM Project Engineering team to deliver complex system development products across contracts. You will manage design, test, and deployment activities, aligning with strategy while controlling risk and cost.

The role requires cross-functional leadership and strong program management skills. You will coordinate with senior leadership, provide timely insights, and help drive standardized processes for agility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred or a Technical Degree with 8+ years of related aircraft experience.
• Experience in design, analysis, and/or aircraft systems or structure.
• Project Management experience leading a cross functional team on a new or modified development program.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex system/technical development from concept through design, implementation, test, manufacturing/deployment, sustainment and modifications.
• Ensure alignment with Engineering and Technology strategy, technical feasibility, and manages technical risk.
• Drive planning and execution across all Engineering Teams to meet contract cost, schedule, and technical requirements and satisfy customer needs.
• Act as single voice and point of contact to program management and senior leadership on program execution.
• Provide timely and accurate insight to key program impacts or opportunities to the Program Manager.
• Develop innovative and scalable standardized processes to maintain agility and flexibility.
• Complete Earned Value Management duties including work authorization requests, estimate at complete reviews, schedule status, variance reporting, and proposal tasks.
