LJA Land Development is seeking a Project Engineer to lead site development and permitting for national brands across multiple jurisdictions. We are an employee-owned firm where teamwork, growth, and hands-on experience are central to our approach.

You will manage projects from due diligence through construction, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive successful developments nationwide. Our culture emphasizes continuous learning, client focus, and delivering high-impact results.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• High level of grading and drainage experience.
• Technical engineer with experience in conceptual site design, stormwater design & regulations.
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates engineering work.
• May work as an Assistant Project Manager or Assistant Project Engineer.
• Supervision of junior engineers or technicians as needed.
• Exercise judgment in evaluation and modification of standard techniques.
• Determine additional information needed from internal clients and coordinate with LJA.
• Make basic decisions on alternative procedures when information is lacking.
