LJA Land Development is seeking a Senior Project Manager to interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate engineering projects with significant impact on major programs. You will lead cross-functional teams across offices and field sites, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery while maintaining client focus.

The role demands vision for complex civil site design, strong leadership, and experience in managing engineers and project teams from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and directs large or multiple engineering projects with complex features.
• Supervise engineering and support personnel.
• Analyze project scope, RFPs, and firm proposals; organize work and set procedures.
• Develop and monitor design schedules to meet client and firm deadlines.
• Manage client budgets and schedules; act as team leader and client liaison.
• Engage in business development, proposal writing, and project management.
• Oversee less experienced engineers and technical staff.
• Conceptualize initial design approaches for major project phases.
• Plan and conduct projects with complex design requirements and stringent criteria.
• Exercise judgment in selecting and adapting standard techniques and criteria.
