LJA Land Development is seeking a Project Engineer to conceptualize the initial design approach for a major phase of a large project. You will be responsible for the engineering work on projects of limited scope and collaborate with our experienced team, regardless of location.

The role emphasizes strong communication, relationship building, and delivering quality design solutions. A BS in Civil Engineering, a PE license, and 5+ years of post-graduate experience are required to join our

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
• 5+ years of post-graduate experience, strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates engineering work with conventional techniques.
• Supervise less experienced engineers or technical staff on assigned tasks.
• Exercise judgment in evaluating and adapting standard techniques and criteria.
• Determine additional information needed from internal clients and coordinate with LJA.
• Make basic decisions on alternative procedures when information is not provided.
