Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Florida is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Highway Design team. You will provide advanced engineering, coordination, preconstruction, and program-level technical activities to deliver complex infrastructure projects.

You will work with planning, engineering, environmental, project controls and traffic teams to ensure accurate, high-quality execution of environmental and contractual requirements while mentoring others and leading discipline delivery on large

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience.
Master’s degree in Engineering with 7+ years of relevant experience.
PhD in Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Uses senior-level technical expertise to consider broad range of engineering solutions.
Responsible for discipline-specific planning, work distribution, and leadership and adherence to schedule and budget on complex projects.
Assists in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
Develops scope of work and level of effort and manages adherence to scope and budget on complex projects.
Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team’s work within the technical discipline.
Provides technical guidance and mentoring to team members to achieve project objectives.
Coordinates technical aspects with client counterparts and teaming partners on complex projects.
Leads discipline delivery on larger, multi-disciplinary projects.
Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
