Job summary

Tillamook County Creamery Association in Oregon is seeking a Project Engineer II to autonomously lead assigned projects across the plant, delivering results aligned with our values, safety standards, and industry-leading quality.

You will support the Engineering Manager and Director of Engineering, gather requirements, estimate costs, assess ROI, manage risk, lead design of process equipment and facilities, and coordinate procurement, testing, and startup activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 4–7 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering.
• Ability to travel 25–50% between Tillamook facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects with cross-functional teams.
• Gather requirements, estimate costs, support ROI analysis and funding.
• Lead design of Process, Equipment, Facilities, Electrical, Controls/Automation, and Utilities.
• Procure equipment and services, including contract negotiation.
• Manage project controls: cost, schedule, scope, risk.
• Oversee construction, startup, testing, and project closeout.
