Job summary

Tillamook County Creamery Association is seeking an Automation Supervisor to lead plant automation, PLC/HMI/SCADA programming, and maintenance. You will supervise technicians, implement control-system improvements, and partner with IT to align ERP systems with floor operations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in food/beverage manufacturing, strong troubleshooting, and proven ability to train staff on new processes and equipment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in food or beverage manufacturing environment, including hands-on maintenance.
• Experience providing PLC & HMI programming, hardware installation, and software installation.
• Experience performing instrument and control loop tuning and calibration.
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC control systems and WonderWare & Ignition SCADA systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant PLC and HMI/SCADA programming and maintenance.
• Supervise Automation and Controls Technicians and training.
• Design and implement capital improvements for control systems.
• Collaborate with IT to integrate systems and ERP alignment.
• Train production operators on new processes and control operations.
• Coordinate with automation manager on planning, training, and documentation.
