Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for a major multiyear I-95 widening project in the Savannah, GA area. You will lead engineering effort on interstate widening, major bridge work, and new interchanges, coordinating with DOT inspectors, design engineers, and field teams.

You will mentor project/field engineers, manage submittals and RFIs, and track costs and schedules to keep the project on track toward a PM path.

Formación

• 5+ years of project engineering on heavy civil highway/bridge or DOT projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field
• Hands-on with submittals, RFIs, quantities, cost reports, and change orders
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office
• Bridge experience is a plus; DOT experience is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Run submittals and RFIs for your scope from start to closeout
• Build and maintain quantity takeoffs, project logs and pay applications
• Track cost against budget and prepare monthly cost reports and forecasts
• Build and update the project schedule in Primavera P6 with the field team
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and material deliveries
• Work with the owner, DOT inspectors and design engineers on change orders and field issues
• Read and interpret plans, specs, traffic control and environmental requirements
• Mentor the project and field engineers on the team
• Support the Project Manager and Superintendent with real-time field insights on bridge and roadway work
