Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for a major multiyear I-95 widening project in the Savannah, GA area. You will run the engineering side of interstate widening, coordinating with field teams, DOT inspectors, and design engineers on complex bridge work and new interchanges.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project engineering in heavy civil highway, bridge, or DOT projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Experience with submittals, RFIs, quantities, cost reports, and change orders.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office.
• Bridge experience and DOT project exposure are a plus.
• Based in Savannah area or willing to relocate for a multiyear project.

Responsibilities

• Manage submittals and RFIs from start to closeout.
• Develop and track quantity takeoffs, project logs, and pay applications.
• Monitor costs against budget and prepare monthly cost reports.
• Update project schedule in Primavera P6 with the field team.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and material deliveries.
• Collaborate with owner, DOT inspectors, and design engineers on changes.
• Read plans and interpret specs, traffic control, and environmental requirements.
• Mentor project and field engineers.
• Support PM and Superintendent with in-field bridge and roadway work.
