Your Talent Team is recruiting a Senior Project Engineer for a major multiyear I-95 widening project in the Savannah, GA area. You’ll lead the engineering side, coordinating with owners, DOT inspectors and design engineers while guiding field staff on bridge and roadway work.

This role requires 5+ years of heavy civil highway/bridge experience, a Civil Engineering-related degree, and hands-on submittals, RFIs, quantities and cost reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project engineering on heavy civil highway/bridge/DOT projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Hands-on with submittals, RFIs, quantities, cost reports and change orders.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office.
• Bridge experience a plus; DOT exposure beneficial.
• Based in Savannah or willing to relocate for multiyear project.

Responsabilités

• Run submittals and RFIs from start to closeout
• Build and maintain quantity takeoffs, project logs and pay applications
• Track cost against budget and prepare monthly cost reports and forecasts
• Build and update the project schedule in Primavera P6 with the field team
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and material deliveries
• Work with owner, DOT inspectors and design engineers on change orders and field issues
• Read and interpret plans, specs, traffic control and environmental requirements
• Mentor the project and field engineers on the team
• Support the Project Manager and Superintendent, with real time in the field on bridge and roadway work
