Job summary

Kyle Conti Construction is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our New Jersey team. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of hands-on experience in heavy civil infrastructure projects and take on greater responsibility in project execution.

Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, cost control, field progress oversight, subcontractor coordination, and managing change orders through close-out, with a focus on safety and quality on highway, bridge, environmental, and site

Qualifications

• Proven 5+ years of experience operating heavy equipment such as described above.
• Strong aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Support project management in planning, scheduling, and cost control.
• Oversee field progress and ensure adherence to project timelines and standards.
• Coordinate subcontractor and vendor activities and review project documentation.
• Manage change orders, submittals, and project close-out processes.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
• Assist in estimating, budgeting, and progress reporting.
