Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

• Direct and oversee daily field operations for heavy civil construction projects, including paving, grading, bridges, utilities, and site development
• Coordinate crews, foremen, and equipment for maximum efficiency and production
• Develop and manage weekly and monthly schedules, proactively resolving issues before they impact progress
• Enforce company policies, quality standards, and strict safety procedures on every job site
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to specification
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure accountability and productivity
• Maintain detailed documentation including daily reports, cost codes, as-builts, and project records
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and inspectors to ensure smooth communication and project alignment
• Mentor and develop field staff, promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Drive field execution with confidence, energy, and commitment to excellence

Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

• Extensive experience as a Superintendent in heavy civil construction (paving, roads, bridges, or large-scale site work required)
• Proven track record of leading multiple crews on active infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of earthwork, asphalt paving, utilities, concrete, and grading operations
• Ability to interpret civil plans, specifications, and contracts with technical accuracy
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills
• Skilled in scheduling, cost management, and resource coordination
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity
• Experience with project documentation and reporting tools
