Job summary

You will lead RFI/submittal processes, manage CPM schedules, and coordinate with field teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Background in heavy civil and FDOT is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project engineering on heavy-civil / heavy-highway projects.
• Hands-on FDOT roadway project experience.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage RFIs and submittals end-to-end to keep the project on schedule.
• Develop, update, and analyze CPM schedules and identify critical path risks.
• Coordinate with the Superintendent, crews, and subcontractors on sequencing and materials.
• Own cost tracking, pay estimates, and monthly owner pay applications.
• Review plans for constructability and FDOT compliance; manage change orders.
• Maintain documentation, daily reports, and as-builts per FDOT standards, mentoring junior engineers.
