Qualifications

• Primavera P6 and Excel proficiency.
• Florida PE license a plus.
• OSHA 30 and HCSS HeavyJob a plus.
• Based in Southwest Florida or willing to relocate to Naples.

Responsibilities

• Run RFIs, submittals and coordinate with owner, EOR and field team.
• Build and update project schedules in Primavera P6.
• Track quantities, costs and monthly forecasts.
• Manage subcontractors, their contracts and change orders.
• Review plans, specs and shop drawings for FDOT conformance.
• Support monthly pay estimates, billing and cash flow.
• Coordinate survey, quality control and QA inspections.
• Identify conflicts and delays with superintendent.
• Lead project meetings with foremen, subcontractors and owner reps.
• Keep NPDES, SWPPP and safety program on track.

A heavy civil highway and bridge contractor with work across Florida is hiring a Senior Project Engineer for FDOT roadway and bridge work in the Naples area. This is a strong opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer or a strong Project Engineer ready to step up, with 5+ years on heavy civil jobs, who wants more ownership and a clear path to Project Manager. You'll run the technical and commercial side of the job, from RFIs and submittals to subcontractors, quantities and cost, much of it FDOT work. Southwest Florida locals are great, and candidates ready to relocate are welcome.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Run RFIs, submittals and technical coordination with the owner, Engineer of Record and field team
• Build and update the project schedule in Primavera P6
• Track quantities, cost against bid and monthly forecasts
• Manage subcontractors, their contracts and change orders
• Review plans, specifications and shop drawings for contract and FDOT conformance
• Support monthly pay estimates, billing and cash flow
• Coordinate survey, quality control and quality assurance inspections
• Work with the superintendent to spot conflicts and delays before they hit the field
• Lead project meetings with foremen, subcontractors and owner representatives
• Keep NPDES, the SWPPP and the safety program on track

What We're Looking For
