Job summary

Tyson Foods in Springdale, AR seeks an Engineer III to conceptualize projects, prepare estimates, develop layouts, and schedule activities. The role collaborates with operations, finance, FSQA, maintenance, engineering, and environmental services to deliver on throughput and product quality.

You will produce specifications, gain data-driven insights, manage budgets, and lead multi-disciplinary teams. Travel up to 75% is required; relocation assistance is available; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years’ engineering experience in the food industry; Beef/Pork processing preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP, CAD and MS Office; CAD 2D/3D drafting experience.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize new projects and develop project estimates.
• Prepare layouts and project schedules; coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, FSQA, maintenance, engineering and environmental services.
• Generate specifications and provide data-driven decisions to meet throughput and quality targets.
• Interact with management to ensure projects stay on time and budget.
