Markent Personnel is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for a major heavy civil / FDOT highway project based in Lakeland, FL. You will lead RFI/submittal processes, schedule development, and coordination with field crews to keep the project on track and within FDOT requirements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in heavy-civil/highway, hands-on FDOT project experience, and a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of project engineering on heavy-civil/highway projects.
• Hands-on FDOT roadway project experience.
• Strong command of RFIs, submittals, scheduling and field coordination.

Responsabilidades

• Lead RFI and submittal processes end-to-end to keep the project moving.
• Drive the schedule with CPM analyses and look-aheads.
• Coordinate with Superintendent, crews and subcontractors.
• Own quantity tracking, pay estimates, and owner pay apps.
• Review plans for constructability and FDOT compliance; manage changes.
• Maintain FDOT-standard documentation and mentor junior engineers.
