Kitchell is seeking a driven Senior Project Engineer to join our Phoenix team and build a long-term career with a leading construction company. You’ll shape projects, collaborate with experienced leaders, and gain exposure to every phase of construction.

In this fast-paced role, you’ll manage submittals, RFIs, and documentation, coordinate with project leaders, and contribute to bid processes and startup/closeout activities.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience as a Project Engineer in commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of construction documents and processes.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage submittals, RFIs, and project documentation with accuracy.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to maintain schedule and budget.
• Coordinate meetings, track action items, and ensure clear communication.
• Maintain project records including drawings and change documentation.
• Support change orders, progress payments, and financial tracking.
• Mentor junior engineers or interns.
