Job summary

PCL Buildings Inc. in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team.

You will help manage subcontractors, track cost and schedule, and support design coordination to ensure safe, on-time project delivery. You will coordinate with project managers, supers, and trade partners, handle document control, and assist with site inspections, RFI responses, and closeout activities to deliver quality results.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of construction experience in an operational role preferred.
• Associates or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of construction equipment, drawings, HSE, quality, materials, and standards.
• Ability to apply basic engineering/problem solving to construction challenges.

Responsibilities

• Maintains contracts with select trade partners and handles some subcontract administration.
• Participates in change management, including pricing, processing, and scheduling impact.
• Manages project documentation (RFIs, shop drawings, as-built drawings) and coordination.
• Coordinates with project team lead to supervise design and submittal schedule.
