Job summary

Kitchell seeks an experienced Project Engineer to join our Arizona region in Phoenix and support PMIS setup, maintenance, and project controls readiness, with a focus on data analytics and dashboarding. The role blends office-based work with partial remote flexibility and involves promoting standardized PMIS use across projects.

Under the PMIS Implementation Manager, you will help configure workflows, cost structures, and reporting tools while coordinating with project teams to ensure consistent

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, data science, or related field required; OR degree in Business Management or related technology certifications with 3+ years experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience or internship in construction management or a related discipline required.
• Advanced computer skills and data management proficiency required; knowledge of PMIS platforms like Kahua/Procore preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate standardized setup of new projects across the company.
• Configure and maintain PMIS platforms including document control workflows, cost structures, schedules, and reports.
• Interpret contract documents to support project startup and procedural alignment.
• Collaborate with project managers to establish implementation schedules and reporting templates.
• Assist with implementing cost control tools, budgets, and tracking methods.
• Prepare kickoff documentation, startup meetings, and action item tracking.
• Gather and organize startup data to support dashboards and analytics.
• Provide PMIS navigation guidance and promote consistent system use across teams.
• Contribute to ongoing digital process improvements and data management standards.
