Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Jupiter, FL seeks a Senior Project Engineer for the F135 Nozzle and 3BSM Module to own part-level CIPT responsibilities, planning, and execution within a demanding military engine program.

You will interface with engineering management, program management, suppliers, and government customers to meet stringent requirements, with travel up to 10% and a strong emphasis on leadership and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in STEM and 5+ years of relevant engineering experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Demonstrated leadership of multifunctional teams across programs.
• Experience with nozzle or exhaust design is preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for CIPT part-level planning and execution, including communication and risk management.
• Provide support and leadership to F135 Nozzle and 3BSM IPT.
• Plan and execute development, production and sustainment tasks.
• Interface with a wide team across the F135 program.
• Communicate with F135 leadership and government contacts weekly.
• Manage schedule and budget as CAM; travel up to 10%.
