Performance Contracting Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer for its Raleigh, NC operations (Raleigh-531). The role is on-site and involves coordinating field and office activities on commercial construction projects.

The position requires 4–7 years of project management experience, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to read plans and specifications, with strong communication and teamwork skills emphasized for successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have 4–7 years’ experience managing construction projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to learn new skills and apply them on the job.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance.
• Prepare RFI’s and submittals.
• Quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders.
• Create and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremen.
• Create and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation.
• Support QA/QC measures in the program.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.
