Job summary

Performance Contracting Group in Raleigh, NC seeks an experienced Project Engineer to support our Raleigh-531 operations. You will help manage labor control, prepare RFIs and submittals, perform takeoffs, and coordinate schedules with field teams.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of construction project experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to read drawings and specs. A bachelor's in construction management is preferred, and local candidates are encouraged to

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years' experience supporting or managing construction projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Clear understanding of how to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Motivated self-starter with initiative and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance.
• Prepare RFI's and submittals.
• Quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders.
• Create and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremen.
• Create and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation.
• Support the QA/QC program and safety initiatives.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.
