Our client, a manufacturer of fully customized automated assembly equipment, seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead from concept to completion. You will own the overall design, coordinate a design team and external contractors, and drive projects through to release while managing budgets and schedules.

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years designing fully customized automated production equipment.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks for 3D CAD and assemblies.
• Experience in welding and fixture design; GD&T knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall design of customized automated machines contracted for clients.
• Break down design work and manage tasks, time, milestones, and team accountability.
• Incorporate robotics, vision systems, welding, fixtures, controls, and material handling into designs.
• Regularly communicate project status to customers and management.
