Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners seeks a Sr. Project Engineer to drive the design of customized automated production equipment from concept to delivery. You will lead design teams, manage resources, and coordinate with customers and suppliers to meet milestones and budgets.

You will work on systems including robotics, vision, welding, fixtures, hydraulics and controls, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient production solutions for diverse industries.

Qualifications

• BSME or similar degree with strong mechanical design skills.
• 5+ years of project design experience for fully customized automated production equipment.
• SolidWorks experience.
• Experience with welding, fixture design and GD&T.
• Experience with robotics, vision systems, controls, data acquisition desirable.
• Experience working with customers and suppliers desirable.
• Interpersonal verbal and written communication skills are important.
• Proven ability to manage large projects to a timeline and schedule.
• Good computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall design of a custom automated machine contracted for by a client.
• Lead a team of design engineers and outside contractors on larger projects.
• Manage resources and break down design efforts into tasks with milestones and timelines.
• Communicate design status, time estimates, and progress to customers and management.
• Incorporate robotics, vision systems, welding, fixtures, controls, material handling, and high-speed assembly into designs.
