Job summary

ABB is seeking an engineer to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. You will plan, organize, and lead multiple projects, developing requirements for Empower, Rulestream, ePLAN, GPLM, and SAP.

You will design, code, test, and implement programs using Visual Basic (VBA/VB.NET) and C#, collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, and SAP teams to resolve system issues and enhance CAD tools across product lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, physics or math.
• 3 years in project engineering and rules-based systems.
• Working knowledge of SQL and programming.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, lead and execute multiple projects while meeting delivery dates.
• Develop user requirements and specifications for Empower, Rulestream, ePLAN, GPLM and SAP.
• Design, code, test and implement programs using VB/VBA and C#.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, IT and SAP to resolve issues.
