Job summary

CAE USA is seeking a Project Engineer to lead technical program execution over IPTs for flight simulator engineering content. You will coordinate planning, organization, and execution with senior program management.

The role requires handling large cross-functional teams, PMR participation, and CAM reviews, while reporting to a Directorate Chief Engineer and driving process improvements to meet strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Sciences required.
• 8+ years of USG/DoD development program experience.
• 3+ years of Engineering Lead experience in USG/DoD development programs.
• 3+ years experience with IBM/Rational or Atlassian development and collaboration tools, DOORS, Earned Value Management (EVM), and Microsoft Project.
• Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

Responsibilities

• Manage large, complex project initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Serve as technical lead over the assigned engineering team on a program; participate in reviews and PMRs.
• Lead CAM reviews and ensure technical, cost and schedule performance for engineering content.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Receive direction from a Directorate Chief Engineer responsible for program engineering.
• Develop and improve processes, systems, solutions or products to boost performance.
• Implement strategic goals set by leadership.
