Job summary
Lockheed Martin in Ohio seeks a Project Engineer responsible for communicating project progress across teams and serving as the focal interface between program managers, engineers, suppliers, and partners on contracts in the portfolio.
You will drive improvements, create and implement project plans, evaluate technical information against contract requirements, and resolve issues with external partners. Travel and irregular hours may be required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related STEM field with at least 3 years of professional experience.
- Experience in Project Planning.
- Experience communicating with multi-disciplined engineering teams.
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- U.S. citizenship with SECRET security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvements, technical solutions, change management, and risk assessments.
- Create, coordinate, and implement project plans.
- Coordinate with program managers, team leads, engineering SMEs, suppliers and partners.
- Support proposals and business capture for Advanced Development Programs (ADP).
- Coordinate planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects.
