Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Longmont, CO is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate planning, organization, integration and completion of engineering projects within an assigned area. You will develop and maintain engineering program plans, schedules, and priorities while tracking work across engineering and other teams to support development and execution.

Strong emphasis on meeting customer requirements and specifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Equivalent education/experience considered in lieu of degree.
Experience using Jira and building queries with JQL.
Experience developing, maintaining, or coordinating project schedules and managing competing priorities.
Experience supporting project financials such as budgets, cost estimates, cost tracking.
Experience reviewing technical or project documentation against requirements.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the planning, organization, integration, and completion of engineering projects within an assigned area.
Develop and maintain engineering program plans, schedules, and priorities.
Coordinate and track work across engineering and other functional teams to support technical development and project execution.
Review system designs and related documentation for alignment with standards and customer requirements.
Support project financial activities, including budgets, cost estimates, and cost tracking.
Communicate project status, technical information, priorities, and issues to stakeholders.
