Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Texas is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead construction materials testing projects from proposal through closeout, ensuring technical quality, client satisfaction, financial performance, and team execution.

You will mentor staff, contribute to business development, and maintain strong client relationships while upholding ECS Core Values. This on-site role requires PE licensure and a proven multi-project management track record in a consulting environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Geology or related disciplines.
• Licensed P.E. in the states of practice.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and business development abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of construction materials testing and ASTM standards.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages CMT projects from proposal through completion.
• Ensures tasks are completed accurately and on time, from proposal to invoicing.
• Oversees daily report reviews and resolves issues.
• Manages budgets, invoicing, pay apps, and collections.
• Prepares proposals and change orders.
• Acts as primary client contact and leads project meetings.
• Provides technical oversight and mentors junior staff.
• Supports staffing, resource allocation, and client relationship growth.
