Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Project Manager to support capital projects, guiding plans and specifications through the full project cycle from design development to close-out. The role requires coordinating with engineering, operations, and external vendors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate has 6–10 years in pipeline/measurement/ facilities environments, strong communication, and a track record of multi-project leadership in dynamic settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• 6-10 years related experience in pipeline, measurement, facilities, compression, and/or processing environment.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Must be a self-starter, have good organizational skills and be able to accept constantly changing priorities.
• Must be able to successfully and simultaneously manage multiple high priority tasks and work with minimal direct supervision while staying on schedule and within budget constraints.
• The requirement to carry a company-provided cell phone and be available to respond during working and non-working hours.
• Must be able to work in, interact and balance a corporate office environment and field operations while maintaining professionalism, courtesy, and tact.
• Valid State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Meet the project scope, budget, and schedule for natural gas rotating equipment projects.
• Manage entire project cycle for projects including scope and design development, request for funding preparation, estimating and submittals, material procurement, execution and construction oversight, cost and schedule management and project completion.
• Prepare budget justifications and attend budget meetings for approval of proposed budgets.
• Provide project direction to project team members including project controls, engineering design, operations, ROW, legal, environmental, supply chain, etc.
• Work with the construction group members in construction and inspection activities.
• Supports business development with engineering reports, documentation, estimates, studies, and presentations for clients.
